The In-N-Out Burger Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to CASA of Imperial County to support the organization’s Education Mentorship Program, serving foster youth in both State and Tribal Court jurisdictions.
The CASA Education Mentorship Program provides one-on-one guidance and academic support to foster youth, helping them build confidence, set educational goals, and connect with community resources. Through this program, CASA Advocates serve as consistent mentors—helping youth navigate school transitions, access tutoring, and participate in enrichment opportunities that foster stability and success.

“This generous grant from the In-N-Out Burger Foundation strengthens our ability to provide educational mentorship to some of Imperial County’s most vulnerable children,” said Alex Cardenas, Executive Director of CASA of Imperial County. “By investing in both state and tribal court programs, this award ensures that all foster youth—no matter where their cases are heard—have an equal opportunity to thrive academically and personally.”

The In-N-Out Burger Foundation has long supported programs that break the cycle of child abuse and neglect. CASA of Imperial County, now in its 31st year, remains dedicated to ensuring every foster child has a voice in court, a consistent adult advocate, and access to resources that promote healing, education, and hope.
