CASA of Imperial County is thrilled to announce the adoption of "Tank" a 10-week-old male Bernedoodle puppy, who is set to embark on a remarkable journey as a therapy dog. Tank will soon begin his specialized training to support children in foster care, especially during challenging moments like court appearances.
Tank was generously donated to CASA by 4:13 Gym, a dedicated community partner. His future role as a therapy dog is vital to CASA's mission of advocating for the emotional well-being of foster youth.
"Tank will bring comfort and companionship to children who are navigating difficult and emotional situations. For many foster youth, the court system can feel intimidating and overwhelming, and having o therapy dog by their side provides a sense of safety and reassurance. We are incredibly grateful to 4:13 Gym for their generous donation and for helping us support the children we serve in such a unique and meaningful way," said Alex Cardenas, Executive Director of CASA.
